Ivy & Wood

Founded in 2016, Ivy & Wood is the creation of partners Jess and Brad, who handcraft every product in their north Brisbane warehouse. What started as a small kitchen experiment—Jess making candles as gifts for friends and family—soon turned into a business idea when everyone loved her creations.

They began with a market stall, launched a website, and opened an Etsy shop. As demand grew, Jess left her corporate career in 2017, and by 2018, Brad joined Ivy & Wood full-time. In 2020, during the height of the Covid pandemic, they outgrew their home workshop, moved into their first warehouse, and soon after expanded again as the business flourished.

Their team has grown, and two years ago, they welcomed their daughter, Poppy. Now balancing business with parenthood, Jess manages sales, marketing, and admin, while Brad runs the warehouse, overseeing production as chief candlemaker.
