Meet Our Team

Twig & Bloom – The Business

Where flowers meet good vibes (and great coffee).

We’re more than just the go-to spot for stunning florals in the North. We’re a crew of fun, slightly flower-obsessed humans who genuinely love what we do - and it shows in every bouquet, arrangement, gift, and latte that leaves the shop.

We adore our community, and nothing makes us happier than locals dropping in for a chat, a coffee, or just to soak up the floral magic.

Formerly known as Gawler Flower Gallery, our beloved little business has bloomed in the iconic Clocktower building at 61 Murray Street for years. In October 2025, Emma and Stuart Macdonald gave it a fresh new face - rebranding as Twig & Bloom - to bring a modern twist to a Gawler favourite and set the stage for all the exciting things to come.

Emma M – Co-Owner & Head Florist

Multitasking magic-maker.

Yes, that Em (not to be confused with the other Emma). After years in finance and insurance, she finally gave in to her floral obsession and bought Gawler Flower Gallery in 2022.

She’s the heartbeat of the shop - juggling deliveries, coffee runs, creative direction, and the occasional floral masterpiece like it’s no big deal. Curating giftware, perfecting the shop layout, and chatting with every alpaca and llama she passes - Em just gets it done, with style, heart, and a whole lot of petals.

Stuart – Co-Owner & Coffee King

Resident ideas guy, coffee king, and all-round legend.

Stuart’s worn a few different hats - finance, sport, online consultancy, automotive - but deep down, he always dreamed of having his own coffee shop.

He came up with the name Alpacaccinos - a mix of Emma M’s alpaca obsession and his love of coffee. These days, he pretty much does it all: brewing, chatting, marketing, finances, HR, operations… and keeping everything running smoothly.

When he’s not here, you’ll spot him cheering on Centrals at the SANFL or catching up with mates. Social butterfly? Definitely. Great coffee maker? Absolutely.

Emma G – Florist Extraordinaire

Firecracker with a heart of gold.

Emma G first caught our attention at the flower markets - not exactly thrilled - until we bonded over the tragic tale of her lost pet goat. One job offer later, and we’ve never looked back.

She’s fiercely protective of her three adult kids, mum to Arlo the cheeky Boxer, and a devoted animal lover. After studying floristry, she’s been wowing us with ethereal designs, soft pastels, and bouquets that could brighten anyone’s day.

Queen of bouquets and unstoppable chatterbox (unlike Skye), Emma G is simply irreplaceable.

Tam – Barista & All-Round Superstar

Sassy, unstoppable, and coffee-obsessed.

Tam wandered in with her mum one day - one chat later, we’d offered her a job. One of seven siblings, she knows how to roll up her sleeves and get it done.

Animal lover at heart (Noodle the Great Dane is her not-so-secret favourite), she’s often found making magic in a coffee cup or helping florists strip flowers and tidy the coolroom. Endless chatter? Always. Fun factor? Off the charts.

Skye – Boho/Hippie Florist

Zen vibes and colour magic.

When she’s not here, Skye runs Omega Dreams, massaging, healing, and chilling out. She surprised us one day asking to work here - no experience, just enthusiasm - and we’ve never looked back.

Lover of colour, Australian natives, and all things cottage-chic, she’s constantly creating magic. Running around with her two kids and never standing still, Skye doesn’t say much, but when she does, it’s thoughtful or hilariously sassy.

Her calm, zen energy is a quiet anchor in our whirlwind of blooms, chatter, and coffee.

Geoff – Delivery Legend

Our built-in GPS and master of deliveries.

Everyone loves Geoff — and how could they not? Quirky, sarcastic, and endlessly funny, he keeps us laughing and on our toes.

Born and bred in Gawler, he never needs a map and seems to know someone everywhere he goes - even on a cruise to Spain! Hardworking, loyal, and all-round great human, Geoff is essential to the Twig & Bloom family. We’d be lost without him… literally.
